Turner’s Tree Surgery were appointed to carry out a comprehensive programme of tree works at Brentwood Town Hall, following a full site tree report. The assessment identified a number of trees requiring attention to improve safety, reduce risk and support long-term health across the grounds.
- Over the course of five days, our team delivered a range of arboricultural services, including:
- Tree removals where structural defects or decline posed a hazard
- Crown reductions and lifting to clear buildings, improve light levels and create safe access
- Stump grinding to fully remove felled trees and prepare areas for replanting
- Ivy removal to reduce weight on stems and allow proper inspection
- New tree planting to replace lost canopy and enhance the landscape
Due to the position of several trees close to buildings and rooflines, we utilised a cherry picker throughout the project. This allowed us to work efficiently at height, minimise disruption to staff and visitors, and maintain a safe working environment on this busy public site.
All waste was removed from site and the grounds were left clean, tidy and greatly improved. The completed works have made the area safer for the public while supporting the long-term health and structure of the remaining trees.
